Constanta Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport (CND): Approximate driving time to Hotel Splendid is 20 minutes and distance is 30 kilometres (19 miles).
Getting there: The best way to reach Hotel Splendid from the airport is by taxi or hire car.
Getting around: Constanta is served by buses and trams run by RATC (Regia Autonoma de Transport Constanta). Bus routes 40, 41, and 100 leave from Constanta's train station and go to the Mamaia resort. Private minibus companies run "maxitaxies" which follow numbered routes. Route 301 serves the Mamaia resort although this route only extends to the northern end of the resort in the summer and it is advisable to check with the driver. A number of firms also provide metered taxi services.
