Getting there: Express bus number 783 departs the airport every 15 minutes for the city centre. Tickets can be purchased from a kiosk in front of arrivals; a ticket valid for two journeys costs RON 4.50. Get off at University Square, which is one kilometre from the hotel. Yellow taxis depart from the stand outside the terminal. The typical fare to the city centre is around €20; travellers are advised to negotiate the fare with the driver before departing. The hotel can arrange airport transfers on request. All prices subject to change.
Getting around: Bucharest has a cheap integrated public transport network consisting of buses, trams, trolleybuses and a metro. Tickets can be used on all forms of transport and must be validated when boarding.
